What we do:
Works along with Original Medicare to cover the deductibles and copays. Allows you to see any doctor that accepts Medicare, but does charge a monthly premium and may require health qualifications. We can shop all the companies to find the best price for the plan that works for you.
Most feature no additional premiums but, you pay co-pays. Drug, dental, vision, and many other "advantages" included! We can check all the top insurance companies to find the plan and benefits best suited to your individual needs.
Drug coverage is not included with original Medicare or a Medicare Supplement, but is required. Our computer program allows us to input your prescriptions and help pick the best plan- even tell you exactly what you'll pay for your medications!
Not ready for Medicare? We offer plans both on and off the Marketplace, and can help with short term medical plans as well.
Many Dental plans to choose from, including dental insurance and dental discount plans with no waiting period. Some plans also include vision coverage.
Concerned about meeting the co-pays or deductibles on your health insurance plan? An indemnity plan pays you directly for covered services and can be customized to covered those out-of-pocket expenses.
Final expense insurance pays your beneficiaries quickly to ensure they will be able to cover funeral costs or other bills. Some plans may be guaranteed issue, or easy to qualify for, as well as affordable, even for seniors.
The harsh truth is that most of us will need some type of long term care, whether at home or in a facility, at some point in our lives. Planning ahead will make sure you can get the care you want, and we have options that can help.

Darrel Snuggerud brings decades of financial planning and retirement expertise to Florida Financial & Senior Insurance Group.Originally from Illinois and Wisconsin, Darrel's family roots trace back to the Snuggerud Valley in Norway, located approximately 60 miles south of Lillehammer, the host city of the 1994 Winter Olympics. His educational journey began in Northern Illinois before continuing in Wisconsin, followed by three years of honorable service in the United States Army.Most of Darrel's professional career was spent in the financial services industry, culminating in his role as Vice President at Morgan Stanley, where he served clients for more than 25 years. Throughout his career, he developed comprehensive financial and retirement strategies, helping individuals and families pursue financial security and confidence in retirement. Many of his clients became lifelong friends, and his passion for helping others achieve their financial goals remains as strong today as ever.In addition to his financial services career, Darrel spent ten years teaching adult education courses, developing a reputation for making complex financial concepts easy to understand. He believes that informed decisions lead to better outcomes and enjoys helping clients navigate important financial and retirement planning decisions with clarity and confidence.Now, Darrel is excited to bring his extensive planning experience to Florida Financial & Senior Insurance Group.
